About this spot
Peace Arch Historical State Park is a 20-acre day-use park with beautiful views and lush gardens that lies on the boundary between the United States and Canada. The 67-foot concrete arch, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was constructed to honor the centennial of the treaties resulting from the War of 1812. These agreements between the U.S. and Britain established a peaceful, undefended border between the U.S. and Canada.
